Hey, guys!
I haven't done a WUW in a while, so I thought it'd be nice to do an update post on my amazingly intriguing life... I wish.

What I'm Reading: 
Oh, gosh....ummm, I'm currently reading The Elite, Breathing Ghosts, and Tattoo Thief.  I'm not very far into any of them, so that's a problem.  Like I've said before: too much homework!  I never have enough time to finish a book in one sitting!  One of the downsides of attending a private school, but I guess you get what you give, whether it be academics or actions.

What I'm Writing:
THIS POST. *Insert sarcastic smiley face*  Haha, just kidding!  Well, I am writing this post, but you get my drift.  I'm not writing anything at the moment, but I do have some reviews to write.

What Else I've Been Up To:

Today was my senior class's Service Day Project.  Basically, we went to a day camp and assisted in fun activities for mentally handicapped adults.  It was very... eye-opening.  It made my eyes water seeing the adults get so excited over such trivial things, like winning a Mardi Gras necklace at a carnival game.  It was truly amazing.

What Inspires Me Right Now:

Seriously, Halloween.  Halloween is my favorite holiday and I'm super-duper excited that I will have less than a week's wait after tomorrow!  I'm going to get my ghoul on!  Was that too nerdy.....?

Also, a sweet Great Pyrenees dog with haunted eyes and a matted white coat, silently begging for attention in an isolated barn.

What I'm Reading:
I'm currently reading Wait for You by Jennifer L. Armentrout and am completely and totally in love with Cam!  Could he be any more attractive?  I think not.  Cam's off the scale of hotness.  I'm hopefully going to finish Wait for You and then start on Bloodlines...or maybe The Fault in Our Stars... still not sure yet.

What I'm Writing:

Nothing at the moment... unless you count class notes as 'writing.'  School work takes up so much of my time.  It's ridiculous.

What Else I've Been Up To:

I've been trying out recipes for different cupcakes, like red velvet, butterscotch, and carrot cake.  Let me tell you guys, the red velvet cupcakes are out of this world!  The cake is moist and fluffly, while the cream cheese icing is smooth and perfectly sweet.  My gosh, I'm already craving one.

What Inspires Me Right Now:

Shakespeare.  

Just kidding, guys.  Reading Othello has made me depressed as hell, so not feeling very inspired right now.

Oh!  I've been receiving a throng of university letters, so that has urged me to get hyped up about college.  I think that counts as inspiration....?  Oh well.

What I'm Reading:
At the moment, I'm reading You Are Mine by Janeal Falor, which I absolutely love, and The Selection by Kiera Cass.  There's been so much hubbub online about The Selection that I knew I would be condemned to book nerd rejection if I didn't read it.  I'm about one hundred pages into it and it's a bit slow, but I like it!  It has a Bachelor and Hunger Games kind of feel to it.

What I'm Writing:
A slew of notes on Othello for AP Literature.  Not a big fan, but it was written a while back, so no judging here.
I was working on a project, but because of my non-committed nature, the file has been waiting to be finished for about a month.  There's a possibility I might get back to work on it, but not anytime soon, what with school and all the wonderful things it brings along with it *sarcastic voice*

What Else I've Been Up To:
My week has consisted wholly of homework and reading.  Wow, I'm such a fun person!  *sarcasm* I'm definitely not one to go out and party like many other teenagers, but it's fine.  Life's good when it's filled up with reading, right?  Right.  :)

What Inspires Me Right Now:
Hmmm, Kings of Leon and T.S. Eliot.
I've been obsessed with Kings of Leon's album, Come Around Sundown.  It's so mellow and perfect and reflective.  Calming alternative music is my thing, so Come Around Sundown is right up my alley.
T.S. Eliot's poem The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock is one of my favorites, and I've recited it a couple of times this week.  If you haven't read it, I strongly recommend it!  It's all about love, lust, self-reflection, self-worth, an unaware woman, and a man in love.  It's perfect and lyrical.
